Here are a list of commonly asked questions. If you cant find the answer to your question here then please get int touch with us via our contact form.
Q: How long do the band play for?
A: We play for 4 hours from 8pm -12pm with a 30 minute break which is usually taken during the evening buffet. Although we do not play past midnight we will provide a DJ set in some instances subject to the venue allowing it for around 20mins. If this is possible please provide a set list of the music you wish to hear. We can adjust our playing time accordingly to stop a little earlier and play a DJ set for a longer of period of time (i.e band stop at 11pm and DJ set to 12am).
Please speak directly to the band about this.
Q: Do you bring your own equipment?
A: Yes the band come equipped with PA system, instruments and dance floor lighting.
Q; How far do you travel?
A: We normally play within a two hour drive of Glasgow. Please get in touch if you are unsure if your wedding is within this area.
Q: Can my relative or friend sing/play the guitar/drums?
A: We are open to this assuming we have received this request approximately 2 months prior to the wedding from the bride and groom. If it is a song we know we are happy to provide the music, or an instrumental track will have to be provided by the client and sound checked prior to the first dance.
NOTE: We do not allow guests to come up and perform during the night, (this excluding the performance prior arranged with bride and groom). The equipment we take to a wedding is worth around £30,000. If a piece of equipment is broken by a guest wishing to play/sing then that person would be held fully responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of our equipment. It is therefore preferred that guests wishing to perform bring their own equipment (i.e guitar/microphone).
Q: Can you provide background music during the buffet
A: Yes we can! And we are happy for the client to select a playlist for this.
Q: Can I chose the set list for my wedding?
A: We have years experience doing what we love and are able to read the mood of the dance floor and are always able to choose songs that appeal to all age groups.. Trust us we know the recipe for a brilliant night! The band will select the song list for the night a few days prior to the wedding however if there are any songs that you really dislike then please let us know. See a guide Set List here.
